The "6 Of The Best" Wedmore Real Ale Festival

The WRAF "6 of the best" Festival

Some say that it was the best year ever, it was certainly up there with the rest of them.  There was plenty of beer right up until we closed the doors on Sunday (well, fell out of them!).  The entertainment was brilliant, Crawfish were great on Friday night, Saturday afternoon debuted "Gramophone Pete" and his nostalgic cowboy tunes, "Loose change" pounded the windows on Saturday and live Jazz brought everyone down gently on the Sunday.  The raffle raised over £1000 (thanks Laura!), the auction (including landladies knickers) raised over £600 (thanks Alan) and Trevor raised his glass repeatedly whilst standing by the door "troubleshooting"!
