Fundraising
is one of the primary objectives of the Wedmore Real Ale
Festivals.
How
we make money
We raise money in a number of different ways. Obviously
we put a margin on the beer we sell, to increase profits
the barrels of beer are also sponsored by business. We
sell an onsite food consession. A raffle and
auction provides additional revenues. Everyone that you see working at
the WRAF is a volunteer and gives their time for free.
To boost profits even more, quaffers are encouraged to
donate their glass deposits at the end of the night.
If you still have any money when you leave, we will mug
you in the street outside......
